What I find most interesting is that the picture is called "Together" yet there is only one part of the two being seen entirely and thus only one part featured. I like it how the mother's face (as I assume it is the mother) is not entirely on the picture. It somehow sets her into the background bit still gives her this presence over the child. Some sort of protection looming in the background.
At first I didn't like the expression of the child’s face, but then I though that it probably has seen something or someone it doesn't like and seeks for protection in its mother's arms. Another thing that fortifies the notion of being "Together" even more.

I like that one ^^. Though it's not a brilliant photo concerning depth and atmosphere it still has that small touch of something calm...

I really like the look on her face. So sad yet safe lol. Its strange that some folks here HATE any cropping. I really like how you did this one keep it up.

there was something that realy didnt go with the rest of the image along the top. that is about it. i made the sides uniform eliminating the carrier edges. so cropping was necessary for me.... sometimes i have things in the image i dont notice untill printing. especially when the image is taken upside down.

Absolutely gorgeous!
The picture and the child.

I sold my digital camera a few weeks ago and am about to finish my first roll of b&w that I've done in months.
Looking forward to spending hours in the darkroom again.

I haven't been around kids for a few years now, they've become like aliens... or is it me who has become the alien..hmm..

i am going to develope some more tri-x, and scan the negatives! eliminate the chemicals! however i will miss the smell and the hands on of using filters and dodge & burn finesse!

I agree with the criopping .. i love the ability to compare the chins of the two .. but also .. why the mature warning? everything seems to be in order here ..
